ABRET Exams Approved by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veterans may use their G.I. Bill education benefits to pay the cost of approved licensing and certification tests.

Qualified veterans will be able to apply for benefits through the licensing and certification approval system (LACAS). Forms may be obtained at a local, state or federal VA office. Candidates applying for VA benefits to cover the costs of the exams must submit a copy of their test results with the appropriate forms. For additional information on applying for benefits call 1-888-GIBILL or log on to www.gibill.va.gov.
