ABRET and ASET have created a joint committee with set goals to engage with the international Neurodiagnostic community.
ASET education opportunities coming soon!
Scholarships
ABRET is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to help with the cost of ABRET credentialing examinations for R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, and CAP. These scholarships are for candidates with demonstrated financial need.
Two scholarships will be awarded every quarter through the ASET Foundation and are available for both US and International candidates.
The quarterly deadlines are:
- March 31st
- June 30th
- September 30th
- December 30th
The award will cover the examination fee and include a 3-month subscription to the ABRET Self-Assessment Program (ASAP), and a one-year membership to ASET: The Neurodiagnostic Society.
Interested parties should evaluate their eligibility for the scholarship as outlined on our website, complete the online application and follow all instructions for submission by the stated deadline.
Those interested in supporting ABRET scholarships may make a tax-deductible donation through the ASET Foundation website, www.asetfoundation.org.
Application Process
Eligible applicants must meet the requirements in one of the published ABRET eligibility pathways.
It is highly recommended that the applicant has already put substantial effort into preparing for the examination. A list of activities undertaken in preparation for the examination must be included.
Complete the online Application Form and submit the required documentation by the published deadline.
Create an account in Certemy, ABRET’s Credential Management program on the ABRET website. If funds are awarded for the examination, they will be added to your account.
The examination must be attempted within 12 months of receiving the scholarship, or the examination funds will be forfeited.
The Process
The award will be based on the submitted application and financial needs. The ASET Foundation Board of Directors is responsible for receiving and reviewing all completed scholarship applications as well as the selection of recipients.
Donations
If you are interested in supporting the ABRET scholarships, make your donation through the ASET Foundation as a designated gift. The funds you submit to the ASET Foundation, a 501©3 public charity, are tax-deductible in the year in which the funds are contributed.
