- ABRET and NAEC -
The National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) and ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (ABRET) agree to phase out its current MOU that allowed epilepsy centers with LAB-LTM-Plus applying for NAEC accreditation to waive the requirements to submit surface and invasive VEEG patient reports
Both the NAEC and ABRET remain enthusiastic about the missions and work of each organization. NAEC will continue to endorse laboratory accreditation through ABRET and maintain on its website a list of LAB-LTM Plus labs. The organizations will continue to discuss ways to realign their respective accreditation requirements to determine how best to recognize the strengths of these complementary programs,
