ABRET practice tests are available through the Professional Testing Corporation website (www.ptcny.com). The cost is $50 and must be paid by credit card on line.
The test must be completed within a two hour window. An instant score report will be generated on completion of the test.
Practice tests are not considered a teaching tool nor a solid indicator of how well one may perform on the actual credentialing examination.
Practice tests provide experience taking a computerized exam, and an opportunity to review an example of the type of content, including question format, style and level of difficulty included in the actual credentialing examination.
Once the practice test is scored, you cannot return to the test to review the questions. The score report will list performance in each of the content areas. Participants may find it helpful to review content in any areas of weakness indicated on the score report prior to taking the credentialing examination. Questions answered incorrectly will not be available for review.
