In this position, you will provide comprehensive neurological and intra-operative neurophysiological monitoring services for the treatment of patients with various related neurological disorders and deficits within the EEG/Neurology department and the operation room.

Duties include:
• Performing intra-operative monitoring while under the indirect supervision of the Neurophysiologist. Intra-operative monitoring modalities include SSEPS, EMG (free running and triggered), TCMEP, and EEG.
• Performing clinical procedures, including evoked potentials, electroencephalograms, and ambulatory electroencephalograms.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-4 years related work experience
• CNIM certification required, or CNIM board-eligible
• Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification (CPR)

Under general direction of the Technical supervisor, you will prepare patients for and conduct routine and special END procedures on all ages of patients served by the department. The Technologist is responsible for performing EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Video EEG, Evoked Potentials, cEEG, and NCV procedures in the Lab and at bedside, and is responsible for maintaining high quality standards in accordance with JCAHO, ASET and Baptist Health Systems.

The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years experience performing END procedures, and an Associate degree or higher, and/or have completed an END program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. Registry (R.EEG.T) or registry eligible desirable. Equivalent experience may be considered in those candidates with previous training in the field. Current BCLS certification, and demonstrated, excellent communication and service qualities required.

Requires:

• Minimum two to five years working experience as an LTM or IOM technologist.

We currently have an opportunity at Morton Plant Hospital for a Neurodiagnostic Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations in the Neurodiagnostics areas assisting with hiring, team member evaluations, budgeting, developing new programs and marketing. Must have the ability to perform procedures in accordance with all technical standards set forth by the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be registered by ABRET in EEG. At least 5 years of EEG experience is required with an additional two years of health care supervisory experience preferred. BLS and R. EEG T. credential are required.
