Posting Guidelines

Email your posting to the ABRET Executive Office. Announcements should be limited to 150 words and will be subject to review. An accepted posting will be available for viewing for 90 days. CNIM Technologist, Neurosciences Inpatient – Trenton, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialized/complex procedures involved in intraoperative neuromonitoring to obtain data for use in diagnosis of clinical disorders of nervous system.
  • Perform accurate, interpretable evoked potential studies, including somatosensory-evoked responses (SSEP), electroencephalography (EEG), motor-evoked potentials, brainstem auditory-evoked potentials, cranial nerve monitoring, electromyography (EMG).

Requirements:

  • One year experience, specifically in intraoperative neuromonitoring, which includes monitoring surgical procedures under supervision of experienced practitioner.
  • Experience in one of the following specialties: EMG (electromyography), EEG, somatosensory-evoked potential, cortical mapping.
  • Completion of an accredited program in electroneurodiagnostics and/or vascular technology.
  • Associate’s degree in biological science w/equivalent number of years experience as technician in healthcare diagnostic procedure setting to offset Bachelor’s degree.
  • Credentialed as R. EEG T., R. EP T. or RNCST by ABRET.
  • Certification in neurophysiological intraoperative monitoring (CNIM).

EEG Supervisor – St. Paul, MN

Minnesota Epilepsy Group in St. Paul, MN, is a nationally recognized, state-of-the-art referral center for diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders, and our technologists are involved in a wide variety of neurodiagnostic procedures.

We are offering an opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Supervisor team.  The position requires an extensive clinical skill set that must include experience with the technical requirements of epilepsy surgery and intraoperative monitoring, as well as many areas of oversight for a large technical group.  As part of the supervisory team, this position requires emergency call coverage via pager on a rotating basis.

Dell Children’s Medical Center Neuro Diagnostics is one of four Seton Magnet nursing facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 10 years of experience is required.  Preferred Associate’s degree can substitute for 3 years of the required experience.  Preferred Bachelor’s degree can substitute for 5 years of the required experience. 3 years of progressive supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
  • Current registry as a Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T.) required.  Prefers Registry in one of the following: Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.), Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (RNCST), Certified Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), or Certified Long Term Monitoring (CLTM).
