Overview
Performs electroencephalograms (EEG) and electronystagmographies (ENG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), and brain mapping neurometrics on outpatients and inpatients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs electroencephalograms (EEG) and electronystagmographies (ENG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), and brain mapping neurometrics on patients.
- Assists physician with electromyography (EMG) and performs nerve conduction velocities (NCV)procedures.
- Monitors electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP) and topographic brain mapping during vascular, orthopedic and neurosurgical operative procedures.
- Maintains neurodiagnostic equipment, keeps labs clean and orderly, and orders supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electroencephalography.
- Eligible for certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologist.
