ABRET and NeuroMatrix and its affiliates AICN and Southern Neurophysiology (collectively, “NeuroMatrix”) have settled their dispute involving the alleged copying and distribution of ABRET’s examination questions by an employee of NeuroMatrix.

ABRET and NeuroMatrix have agreed to resolve their differences by a settlement agreement that places the interests of the neurology community first. ABRET has ensured the integrity of the CNIM examination by removing the compromised questions from its database. NeuroMatrix has compensated ABRET for the costs of the damage caused by the alleged copying and has educated its staff regarding the importance of the integrity of the CNIM exam and the copyright laws of the United States.
